Day Two

At night it was a little loud in the courtyard at first, but then it was dead silent all night and niceand cool. Noah and I stayed busy playing and gettig ready until breakfast was ready at 7:oo.There was fresh watermellon, papaya, pinapple and bannanas, yummy rice and bean mixtureand scrambled eggs. Noah ate tons. Then we went for a walk of the neighborhood. THe citystreets are ugly, but the neighborhood was quaint.
We got an ice cream cone to share at McDonalds, even though it was only 9:00, we had been upfor hours! We came back to the hotel and Noah was very ready for a nap. He assumed hispossition laying across my face and went right no sleep!

When Noah woke up we went for a walk and got some ice cream. We went back to the toy store. They have this big room with all of the big toy cars, pushing toys, playground sets, slides andballs. Noah played in there for awhile riding everything around.

By the time we got back to the hotel it was time to get ready to go get Neena at the airport. There was some confusion with our cab and I was afraid she would be waiting for us, but herplane was delayed an hour, so it worked out great.

Noah has been a little bored and restless, so he was happy to have another person to give himattention!

WE got back to the hotel, had some left overs, then headed out for icecream. Then we played at the park again and Noah got sand in every crevis.

By the time we got home, Noah was toast, and he fell asleep within minutes lying right on top of me.

Now it is only 6:30 so Neena and I are catching up on internet stuff.

Well tomorrow is my first doctors appointment, and then we head off to the beach!!

Noah likes to check his email too!

Yay! Neena is here. I caught her by surprise in this photo so that is why she looks so serious.

Noah just loves playing in dirt!

He is very generous though and made sure to share with Neena and I.

Here is the play room at the toy store. Noah likes it, but wants to take the toys and push them around the main part of the toy store.

And once again, success! Noah sleeps!

Day One

Hurray! We made it!!! We left for the airport at 3:30 am! Noah did not really sleep at all on the way to the airport or on the first plane. Noah must of thrown something at the people 5 times before we even took off. I had an eagle eye on him the whole time, but he was so sneaky and still throgh things at the family behind us every chance he got. Noah was ancy, restless and cranky the whole flight! We had boys Noahs age behind us, infront of us and to the side, and they were all angels of course! WE had a connection at 10:30 and he got a little nap then. I was lucky and got skipped all the way to the front at customs since I had a sleeping baby!

We made it all the way to the hotel with no problems. The hotel is in the middle of the dirty city, but inside has a nice ambiance. I will post pictures when I can.

When we arrived we went for a walk and found a big toy store. Noah knows the sign for please which is rubbing your stomach counter clockwise. He walked around the whole store asking for everything. We decided to get out of there after buying some batteries for my video camera and a ball for Noah.

There wasn't any good food in town so we took a cab to the center of San Jose. I did not know the exchange, so had no idea how much I was paying. After I paid in dollars I realized it was WAY too much!

Noah did not nap all day, but happily went to sleep at 6. He wanted to sleep with me and laid perpendicular to me with his cheek on my neck. Later I was able to sneak away to read and write some emails.

All is going well!

And we're off, Noah enjoyed looking out at all the action on the runway

Once the plane started Noah got VERY sleepy

Noah was asleep before we got off the ground!(that didn't last long unfortunately.)

Noah wanted to sit like a big boy in between flights.

Finally we arrived at the hotel!

We have a nice kitchen area!

Noah figured out how to turn on the TV

and then he ate the remote!

Good night sleepy baby!

Lying Awake

I am working on getting lose ends tied up this week before I leave for Costa Rica in a week... All the laundry, cleaning the house, lots of errands, bills, emails, ect.. With all the stuff I have to get done on my mind just before bed, I have been unable to fall asleep. It didn't help that I took a big nap late this afternoon while Noah was sleeping so I was already pretty rested. So here it is 12:30 and I still don't feel like I will be falling asleep soon. And every time I look at the clock I am calculating how much sleep I will get until Noah wakes up proptly at 6am as he always does. Thinking about that just makes it harder to sleep!

Since we originally planned to go in May, but then delayed the trip until July, I have been anticipating this trip for awhile and now the anticipation is driving me crazy. The trip is pretty much all I think about or talk about anymore. I must be terrible company. I am excited to just go and have all this anticipation over with!

Please Check Here!

We are very excited for our trip to Costa Rica for IVF and have shared with friends and church members that we will be going. In order to keep the next few months as stress free as possible, we are asking that aside from family members, people check the blog to know how things are going instead of asking us. Thank you for your concern and support! When we have news to share with the world we will post it here!!! I will always have this posting at the top, so scroll down for the latest post.
